I have little faith in Congress to address this problem, and their failure to do so has led us to the edge of a financial cliff. It is just too easy to create dollars.

What I do have faith in is technology, and would not surprise me at all that the "18 year olds" working for DOGE are actually "18 year olds using the latest tech, including AI, to empower their search and exposure".

I believe that with future tech we have a chance of restoring fiscal balance, but not via acts of Congress, more like in spite of Congress. For example, consider how more efficient the IRS will be with AI at their disposal? Rather then hiring thousands of new auditors, they can dramatically reduce the size of the agency.

My belief is that Congress will resist such changes, and the adoption of streamlining tech in general, because it will dramatically reduce the headcount of government, and thus, their power.

But maybe I will be proven wrong on both counts.

Tell Congress: “Grasp the nettle firmly, and it becomes a stick with which to beat your enemy.”
